Most real estate websites try to cover everything — every city, every zip code, every price point. This one does the opposite. DommerichRealEstate.com is about a single community in Maitland, Florida: the eight neighborhoods that feed Dommerich Elementary. That’s it. That’s the whole site.
I’m Erin Baker, a REALTOR® with Fannie Hillman + Associates in Winter Park, and I built this site because the Dommerich community deserves better than what the big portals give it.
Why one school zone deserves its own site
If you’ve ever searched for a home here, you know the problem. The portals will show you listings, but they can’t tell you why a house on one street trades differently than a nearly identical one two streets over. They don’t know which neighborhoods have no HOA, where the boardwalk to Maitland Community Park picks up, or what it actually means that owners here tend to stay for decades.
I know this community the way you can only know a place you live in. My family is in Maitland. I served as Dommerich Elementary’s PTA President in 2020–2021 and was named an OCPS Volunteer Coordinator of the Year. I’m Vice President of the Maitland Public Library Board of Trustees. Before real estate, I spent my career marketing Central Florida homes for the builders themselves — first at an agency working with names like Lennar and Centex, then as Central Florida Marketing Director for M/I Homes. I’ve seen how homes are priced, positioned, and sold from the inside.
